Especially lemongrasse showed high anti- icrob~al effects against microbes residing on scalp. melissa, neroli, palmarosa, peppermint and thyme linalol all had anti-microbial effects against the three germs residing on scalp. Therefore the seledion of essential oils based on aromatogram could be used effectively not only for healthy hair management but also every field of beauty care. From the research above, a positive result was derived in the fact that aromatherapy could be used effectively in the field of beauty care including healthy hair management. Based on the results above, a blending formula of various essential oils in the development of healthy hair management based of aromatherapy could be produced in the near future. In addition, in-vivo, in-vitro experiments and more clinical studies should be carried out to use the essential oils more scientifically and effectively. Also a variety of products related to healthy hair management should be developed. Finally for the purpose of the promotion of physical health and beauty, aromatherapy should be continuously studied so that it could be utilized in the areas of other beauty care programs.
